Parvati Shallow Smells A Rat in Episode 8

Episode 8 of Survivor Micronesia has come and gone and once again Parvati Shallow has played her part and continues to survive. It has helped immensely that Parvati’s Airai team keeps on winning those immunity challenges. And so, after a little desperate fancy footwork and some fast talking by Erik – who happens to be the last remains Fan in the Malakal tribe, it was Ami Cusack who was voted out.

Meanwhile, they may not have had to face Tribal Council, but Airai are feeling the sting of impending starvation. Well…maybe not, but they’re getting hungry! Parvati’s fed up with nibbling on coconuts, but when she’s offered an alternative food source, a rat caught by Jason, she’s less than impressed – with try-hard Jason, that is, not the rat (yummy).

Parvati and James have also been busy securing themselves alliances that the hope will keep them in the game to at least the merge. James sends Parvati to bring Alexis and Natalie into an alliance of four, to which Natalie can’t see a problem. Parvati, in securing the alliance, reveals to natalie that as far as she’s concerned, she’s only committed to James and Ozzy up to the merge anyway. (Sounds like a bit of a line to me).

Parvati’s admission could pay off or it could backfire, you never know. After what happened to Amit it’s still anyone’s game.
